Memory Lane
Ok, so I am trying to be better and keep up, so two days in a row! Yeah, now who knows how long it will be until next time, lol. Today my mom and dad brought me a vanity and a trunIk from my grandma. The vanity was made from an old organ so that's pretty interesting and the trunk was made by my great-grandpa, I think he might have also made the vanity but really don't know. The best part though was my aunt had said that they were both completely cleaned out and when we were bringing them in we realized that half of the drawers had stuff in them. I didn't get to look at everything but I saw this little booklet that I'm pretty sure was from when my grandpa became a Mason. So freaking awesome! Then there were a ton of letter's from my grandpa to my grandma when he was in World War II and I think some from when he was in the Korean war. There were a whole bunch of war department papers too. I also got a peek at some of my dads report cards, which was fun, and I found more of his marbles! So far we've found three bags of his marbles but he still insists there are more, lol. There were also a lot of pictures, my dad when he was little and some pictures of my oldest brother and my sister, and my favorites were pictures of my grandpa. He was such a wonderful man and even though it has been almost eight years since he went to heaven, I still miss him and think of him daily. I'm so lucky to have had such an awesome person as my grandfather, he truely made me who I am today. He also taught me how a man should treat a woman, not once in my life did that man ever say anything disrespectful to my grandma, mom or me. The day he left this earth, a part of my soul went too. Wow, ok didn't mean to get al soft and squishy there! So anyway, I made banana chocolate chip muffins again today, mmmm so yummy. My honey made chicken, rice, pasta and garlic cheese rolls, the cheese rolls were made with special vegetable jack cheese brought home from Wisconsin, super awesome with those rolls. Crap, forgot about printing pictures for my daughter! Better go, catch y'all another day!

Bad Blogger
I'm such a good blogger, not. Kind of forgot about it lol. Last week or so has been busy, yet slow at the same time. Had my monthly doctor's appointment, woo-hoo! Yup, still a freak. My husband has carpal tunnel so stinking bad he has a hard time even using his hands which makes life just grand. He's going back to work in North Dakota and I have mixed feelings about it but whatever. Not like I could do anything about it anyway. My kids are back in school and my son is doing great, but my daughter broke down crying this morning and it just breaks my heart because I don't know what to do for her. I'm so stressed out I could probably just upchuck at any given moment, grrrr. By great-niece, yes I have a great-niece I'm the youngest in my family, turned four today and I thought I would do a cute balloon that I saw on Pinterest. Yeah, the first one popped in my face and when I got done with the second one I realized I should have used helium because it just fell on the floor all limp. Doy. But, my kids thought it was awesome and I was questioned as to why I never do fun stuff like that for them which I answered with the fact that I just found this and my husband laughed and said "Yeah, cause we're always just giving you money for your birthday!" My son however still maintains that I should do that for his next birthday, with black balloons. What a kid! Anyway, my niece liked it and really she doesn't care, she is such a little sweetie! Her sister starts kindergarten tomorrow, and it just seems like they were both born! Time really goes too damn fast. Well, going to go play with some downloads I just got and maybe, maybe, work on making an organization binder. The ones I found were geared for other people and I'm picky so....with that said I'm outta here. Until next time, whenecer that may be.

First blog!
This is my very first post, I guess I'll just ramble. Kids are just about ready for school to start next week. It's been quite a long summer, but I've enjoyed it. I forgot to add that I'm addicted to Pinterest and usually am on at least 2 hours a day. There are so many fun things to try and different ideas that I've never even thought of, so fun to check out pictures and all the delicious looking food. If I ate half of what I pinned I'd be like a thousand pounds I swear! Well, I originally got online to download all my blogtrain freebies and then check them all out :) I know, kinda nerdy but I've always loved this stuff, I'm the girl you see in the stationary aisle drooling over different pens and papers. I even still have some from when I was younger that I've given my 13 year old daughter. Yup, I'm a nerd! Catch y'all later, J
